Stars Who Struggled to Conceive Children Share Their Fertility Issues

For many famous people who have become parents, including Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, becoming a parent has not been easy.

When the first round of in vitro fertilization failed, Teigen questioned whether she had made a mistake.

"You just look for anything to blame, especially yourself," Teigen said to The Cut in April 2018 of New York Magazine.

IVF eventually worked for Teigen and Legend, who had son Miles in May 2018 and daughter Luna in April 2016.

Then, in August 2020, she revealed that baby No. 3 was on the way, but regrettably, she lost the pregnancy the following month.

"Even as I type this, the pain is coming back to me. In an essay for Medium published in October 2020,

the model described the incident as "utter and complete sadness.

"Some believe that a heartbreak like this leaves a hole in your soul. Undoubtedly,

a hole was created, but it was filled with my intense affection for the subject in question.

 This room doesn't feel empty. It feels complete.

Later, Teigen gave birth to boy Wren via surrogate in January 2024 and daughter Esti in January 2023.
