See Bradley Cooper Transform Into Leonard Bernstein in ‘Maestro’ Trailer

When set photographs began circulating last year for the film Maestro,

Bradley Cooper's makeover into Leonard Bernstein appeared spectacular,

but today fans can finally see him in action in the film's debut teaser.

The new Netflix drama, which premieres in theaters on November 22, stars Cooper, 48, as the illustrious conductor.

The emphasis of the video is Bernstein's marriage to Felicia Montealegre, whom he wed in 1951.

Montealegre, played by Carey Mulligan, passed away from lung cancer in 1978 at the age of 56.

The video depicts Bernstein and Montealegre at various times throughout their relationship playing a guessing game.

So how long do we have to continue doing this? Bernstein says to his wife, "Oh, we need to develop a very strong connection," as a response.

Maestro, which had its global premiere at the Venice International Film Festival in September, was directed and co-written by Cooper.

Jamie Bernstein, the daughter of Bernstein and Montealegre, is portrayed in the film by Maya Hawke, and Jerome Robbins is portrayed by Michael Urie.
