Klay Thompson is a professional basketball player who was born on February 8, 1990, in Los Angeles, California, USA.

He played college basketball at Washington State University before being drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 2011.

Thompson is a shooting guard and is known for his three-point shooting ability.

He is a five-time NBA All-Star and has won three NBA championships with the Golden State Warriors.

In 2016, Thompson scored 60 points in just 29 minutes, setting an NBA record for the most points scored in the fewest minutes played.

Thompson is one half of the famous "Splash Brothers" duo, along with fellow Warriors teammate Stephen Curry.

He has a career average of 19.5 points per game and has made over 1,800 three-pointers in his career.

Thompson has also represented the United States in international competitions, 

winning gold medals at the 2014 FIBA World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games. 

In 2019, Thompson tore his ACL during the NBA Finals, which kept him out of action for the entire 2019-20 season.

Thompson is known for his laid-back personality, love of his dog Rocco,
