Browns fall to Commanders in 2nd preseason game

The Browns lost their second sport of the preseason, 17-15, to the Commanders on Friday at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Following a sixty eight-minute delay because of rain and lightning,

the Browns took the sector and opened the sport with maximum in their starters — along with QB Deshaun Watson,

who played for only one pressure however established poise by way of leading the offense deep into the pink quarter.

Watson completed all three bypass tries for 12 yards and carried the ball three times for 20 yards.

The drive, but, ended without any factors because the Browns were not able to transform on a fourth-and-goal.

There were promising moments, although, which include Watson's scrambles and an 18-backyard run from WR Elijah Moore.

Moore also caught a bypass for six yards, but after the starters exited the game, Moore walked with running shoes returned to the locker room with a rib harm.

Moore obtained X-Rays within the locker room. The results got here back poor.

The protecting starters set the tone early and scored the game's first points for the Browns on a protection from a Commanders' holding penalty in the end area.

The Commanders, but, spoke back with touchdowns on their subsequent  drives and went into halftime with a 14-2 lead.

Browns S Ronnie Hickman intercepted two passes Friday night. 

His first int came simply before halftime on Commanders QB Jacoby Brissett and his 2d came inside the 4th quarter on Commanders QB Jake Fromm.
